In Conversation with Dr Paul Elsam was an exclusive filmed interview which was premiered as part of the Big Ideas by the Sea festival which took place during July 2021 in Alan Ayckbourn's home town of Scarborough. This hour-long interview with the playwright was conducted by Dr Paul Elsam and touches on Alan's play The Girl Next Door, living through World War 2 as well as the Covid-19 pandemic and the future for theatres.
